Salary: £120 - £150 per day

Are you a confident Cover Supervisor who can effectively manage a classroom of KS3 and KS4 students?

Do you have strong behaviour management skills and the ability to keep students engaged with their learning?

Are you adaptable, reliable and comfortable delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School in Salford who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school provides education for students across KS3 and KS4 and is looking for a confident individual who can create a positive and productive classroom environment.

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a full-time, long-term temporary basis, supporting classes across KS3 and KS4. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned work, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged and on task in the absence of their usual teacher.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with secondary school students or young people
• Experience supporting students across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A confident and adaptable approach
• A positive, professional attitude
