TeacherActive is proud to partner with a highly regarded secondary school in Caerphilly, currently seeking to appoint a Sports Cover Supervisor. This inclusive 11-18 school welcomes students of all abilities and backgrounds, fostering values of respect, reliability, self-discipline, and pride through its ethos of "Aspire and Achieve". The school is dedicated to supporting every student to reach their full potential.

We are looking to recruit a motivated Sports Cover Supervisor for both short-term and long-term placements, with an immediate start available. The successful candidate will deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects, support positive behaviour management, and utilise their sporting experience to build strong relationships with students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

Key attributes of the successful Sports Cover Supervisor include:

• Experience working with children or young people in educational, coaching, or sporting settings
• A genuine passion for sport and promoting positive engagement with learning
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence in leading classes using pre-prepared materials
• A proactive, reliable, and adaptable approach
