The school is seeking a Cover Supervisor to provide flexible, day-to-day and short-term cover across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS3 and KS4), with the potential for longer-term opportunities.

The role will involve:

• Supervising classes in the absence of the regular class teacher.

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning.

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment.

• Supporting students across a variety of subjects.

• Encouraging students to complete their work and stay focused throughout lessons.

• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Previous experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.

• Confidence managing groups of students across KS3 and KS4.

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• The ability to follow lesson plans and instructions provided by teaching staff.

• A positive, professional and flexible approach.

• A genuine passion for supporting young people's education and development.

• A relevant qualification is desirable but not essential.
