TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary academy in Mansfield, who are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support their day-to-day supply requirements. With a strong focus on high expectations, positive relationships and a knowledge-rich curriculum, the school aims to ensure every student feels safe, supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The school is looking for a confident Cover Supervisor to provide flexible, day-to-day supply cover, starting immediately, with work offered according to the school's daily staffing requirements. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for supervising classes across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff, maintaining positive classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged and on task throughout the school day.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
A relevant qualification or degree is desirable but not essential
Experience working with young people aged 11-16 in a secondary school or similar setting
Experience supervising groups and managing classroom behaviour
A good understanding of safeguarding and school expectations
Strong communication and organisational skills
A flexible, reliable and adaptable approach to day-to-day supply work
