Salary: £100 - £120 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of secondary schools across Newcastle that are looking to appoint experienced Cover Supervisors. These schools are committed to creating positive learning environments where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential through high expectations, strong pastoral support and an inclusive approach to education.

The schools are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor for day-to-day, long-term and permanent opportunities across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining excellent classroom behaviour, ensuring students remain on task and providing a positive learning experience across a variety of subjects.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working as a Cover Supervisor or within a secondary school environment
• Experience delivering pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and classroom management abilities
• The confidence to adapt to different subjects and school environments
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting students
