TeacherActive is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Pembrokeshire. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young people and are looking for flexible or full-time work within supportive school environments.

The Role

• Deliver pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and effectively
• Support pupils to stay engaged with their learning
• Work across a variety of subjects and year groups
• Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
• Adapt to different schools and classroom settings

Requirements

✅ Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
✅ Confident managing groups of pupils in a classroom setting
✅ Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
✅ Calm, professional, and adaptable approach
✅ A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
