Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Brecon, Powys
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £110 – £130 per day (depending on experience)

TeacherActive is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of welcoming Secondary Schools across Brecon and the surrounding areas.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused on their learning.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a UK Secondary School environment
Confidence supervising classes across KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
The ability to deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
A flexible, proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning
A genuine passion for education and helping young people achieve their potential
