TeacherActive are recruiting Bilingual Cover Supervisors to support a secondary school in Ammanford.

The Role

• Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences
• Deliver pre-prepared work and ensure pupils remain engaged
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Support pupils with their learning where appropriate
• Follow school policies and procedures
• Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
• Provide reliable and consistent support to the school

What We're Looking For

✅ Fluent Welsh and English speaker
✅ Experience working with children or young people
✅ Confident managing a classroom
✅ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✅ Reliable, adaptable and professional approach
✅ Ability to work independently and use initiative
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
