Cover Teacher

Supply Cover Teacher – Dartford

Location: Dartford
Pay: £130 – £160 per day *depending on experience
Contract: Ad hoc / Supply
Start Date: Immediate

TeacherActive are looking for confident and adaptable Cover Teachers to support Secondary Schools across the Dartford area on an ad hoc supply basis.

This role is ideal for qualified teachers who enjoy variety and are happy to provide both subject-specific and general cover across different year groups and departments.

The successful Cover Teacher will:

• Hold QTS

• Be confident delivering both subject-specific and general cover

• Build immediate rapport with students and establish clear expectations

• Ensure pupils remain engaged with the work set by their usual class teacher

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment

• Be adaptable, reliable and comfortable working across different school settings

• Be available for early morning calls to support emergency and same-day cover requirements
