Drama Teacher

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Bradford who are looking to appoint a Drama Teacher. The school provides an inclusive learning environment for students of different abilities, including pupils with SEND, with opportunities for students to develop their confidence, creativity and performance skills.

The school is looking to take on a Drama Teacher for day-to-day or long-term work with an Immediate Start. The successful Drama Teacher will teach Drama and Performing Arts across KS3 and KS4, supporting students with GCSE and A Level preparation while adapting lessons and activities to meet individual learning needs.

The successful Drama Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Drama or Performing Arts specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching Drama and/or Performing Arts
• Experience teaching students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Experience supporting GCSE and A Level students
• Experience supporting children and young people with SEND
• Excellent classroom management and strong communication skills
