TeacherActive is searching for a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Educator to join a fantastic nursery setting in Sunderland.

This is an opportunity to do much more than simply supervise a nursery room. You'll be helping children discover the world around them, build their confidence, develop their communication skills and celebrate new achievements every day.

You'll become part of a friendly nursery team committed to creating a fun, stimulating and nurturing environment where children feel safe and excited to learn.

You'll have the opportunity to support children at different stages of their Early Years development while bringing your own enthusiasm and creativity to the setting.

This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right Early Years Practitioner.

What will you be doing?

You’ll work closely with an experienced nursery team to create a safe, happy and stimulating environment where children can learn, explore and thrive.

You’ll help plan and deliver engaging activities, encourage communication and language development, support growing independence and celebrate children's achievements along the way.

You’ll support children at different stages of their Early Years journey and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure their individual needs are met.

What are we looking for?

• A Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience working with young children in an Early Years setting
• A genuine passion for helping children learn, develop and have fun
• A warm, caring and positive personality
• Plenty of enthusiasm, creativity and energy
• A flexible, proactive and ‘can-do’ attitude
• The ability to work confidently as part of a team
