These schools are committed to creating positive learning environments where students can thrive academically, socially and personally, while maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour.
We are looking to recruit Cover Supervisors for both short-term and long-term opportunities, with the potential for permanent positions for the right candidates. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise whole classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and support students in their learning. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience across a variety of secondary school settings while making a positive impact on young people's education.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) with strong numeracy and literacy skills
• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to manage behaviour positively and effectively
• A proactive, flexible and team-oriented approach with a commitment to safeguarding
