The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic English Teacher on a permanent, full-time basis from October, teaching English Language and English Literature across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful English Teacher will deliver engaging lessons, monitor student progress, contribute to curriculum development and work collaboratively with a team of subject specialists to raise achievement.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with a strong subject specialism in English, with ECTs also welcomed to apply
• Experience teaching English Language and English Literature across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A commitment to raising achievement and supporting the development of all students
• A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working as part of a wider teaching team
• A willingness to engage with coaching, feedback and continued professional development
