We are proud to be working with a specialist SEN provision in Oldham who are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of pupils who need supportive, adaptable and engaging teaching.
The role will involve:
Planning and delivering creative English lessons to students with a range of additional needs (including SEMH, ASD and ADHD).
Adapting teaching methods to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all learners.
Creating a positive, safe and structured classroom environment.
Working closely with support staff and the wider SEN team to achieve the best outcomes for each student.
What we’re looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (SEN experience desirable but not essential).
Strong behaviour management and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
A nurturing, resilient and flexible teaching approach.
