Job Title: English Teacher

Salary: £174 - £240 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a good secondary school based in Kimberley, who are looking to appoint a dedicated English Teacher. The school is committed to providing a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop a genuine enthusiasm for learning.
The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic English Teacher from January 2027 on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, supporting students with their GCSE preparation, assessing progress and maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement.
The successful English Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
Experience teaching English across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum and GCSE examination requirements
Excellent classroom management skills
The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning abilities
A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
