TeacherActive is proud to be working with secondary schools across Nottingham who are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated English Teacher. These schools are committed to providing positive learning environments where students are encouraged to develop their literacy skills, build confidence and achieve their full academic potential.
The English Teacher will initially work on a day-to-day basis, with the possibility of securing long-term positions within local secondary schools. The successful English Teacher will deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintain excellent classroom management and support students of varying abilities to develop their reading, writing and analytical skills.
The successful English Teacher will have:
QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
Experience delivering English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Strong subject knowledge and communication skills
A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching
