Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Oldham

Salary: £150 - £200 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Oldham, which is looking to appoint an English Teacher. This is an opportunity to work with students across KS3 and KS4, helping them develop their English skills as they progress towards GCSE.
The school is looking to take on an English Teacher on a full-time, long-term temporary basis, starting ASAP. You will teach KS3 and GCSE English, delivering engaging lessons, managing the classroom effectively and adapting your teaching to support students’ progress.
The successful English Teacher will have:
- QTS with an English specialism
- Experience teaching English across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, including GCSE
- Strong knowledge of the secondary English curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A positive, adaptable approach and a commitment to helping students achieve their potential
