TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in North Essex who are looking to appoint an English Teacher. The school has been rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED and provides education to pupils across KS3, KS4 and KS5.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time English Teacher on a permanent basis with an immediate start. The successful English Teacher will teach across KS3-KS5, planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with an English specialism, with ECTs also welcome to apply
• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school, including teaching placements
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum across KS3-KS5
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching

In return for the above you can expect to receive:

• A permanent, full-time position within a secondary school rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED
• The opportunity to teach English across KS3-KS5
• A salary of £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (M1-M6)
