Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Swindon
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £150 - £230 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND / SEMH school in Swindon that supports young people to rebuild confidence, make positive choices and achieve their potential. The school provides a structured, supportive environment focused on improving students' education and future opportunities.
The school is seeking a dedicated English Teacher for a long-term position, teaching KS3 and KS4 students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. You will plan and deliver engaging English lessons, adapt teaching to individual needs and use effective behaviour management strategies to support student progress.
The successful English Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status / QTS with an English specialism (ECTs welcome)
Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4
Experience supporting SEND / SEMH students and managing challenging behaviour
Strong classroom management and the ability to differentiate lessons
A patient, resilient and adaptable approach to teaching
