We work closely with secondary schools across the region, providing support during busy examination periods, including GCSE and mock examinations.

What does the role involve?

As an Exam Invigilator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring examinations run smoothly, fairly and in accordance with school and examination board regulations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing examination rooms and ensuring all materials are ready before exams begin.

• Supervising students throughout examinations and maintaining a calm, quiet environment.

• Ensuring examination regulations and procedures are followed.

• Distributing and collecting examination papers and materials.

• Supporting students with examination instructions and procedures.

• Monitoring students throughout examinations to ensure fairness and prevent malpractice.

• Reporting any concerns or irregularities to the examinations officer.

• Working closely with school staff to ensure examinations run efficiently.

We're looking for individuals who:

• Are reliable, punctual and professional.

• Have excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

• Can confidently supervise groups of secondary school students.

• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Can remain calm and focused in a busy examination environment.

• Are flexible and available during examination periods.

• Understand the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding.

Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator is desirable but not essential, as guidance and training may be provided.
