TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a highly respected specialist educational setting in Wiltshire, seeking an outstanding EYFS & Primary Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2026.
Supporting children and young people aged 4–19 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, this setting provides an inspiring, nurturing environment where every pupil is encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally. Staff are empowered to deliver creative, individualised learning experiences that enable pupils to flourish and reach their full potential.
This is an exciting part-time opportunity (Wednesday to Friday), teaching across both the EYFS and Primary phases. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape engaging learning experiences, work collaboratively with experienced SEND professionals, and make a lasting impact on the educational journeys of children with complex and additional needs.
The Role
As an EYFS & Primary Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging, differentiated teaching that inspires curiosity, confidence and a love of learning.
Plan personalised learning programmes aligned with individual EHCP outcomes.
Use innovative teaching strategies to support pupils with a wide range of additional needs.
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and external professionals to deliver outstanding holistic support.
Monitor progress and celebrate every achievement, helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.
Create a safe, nurturing classroom where every child feels valued, understood and able to succeed.
The successful EYFS & Primary Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Significant experience teaching within EYFS and/or Primary education.
Experience supporting pupils with SEND, including adapting teaching to meet a diverse range of learning needs.
A strong understanding of EHCPs, personalised learning and inclusive classroom practice.
Excellent communication, leadership and classroom management skills.
A reflective, resilient and child-centred approach with a genuine passion for inclusive education.
Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with relevant SEND experience are also welcomed.
