Job Title: P.E Teacher
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £180 - £240 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with Stratford Girls' Grammar School, an Outstanding-rated 11-18 selective secondary school in Stratford-upon-Avon, recognised for its high academic standards, supportive learning environment and commitment to student development. The school promotes a positive and ambitious culture, offering excellent facilities and a strong emphasis on extracurricular activities, including sport and physical education.
The school is looking to appoint a P.E Teacher on a full-time, short-term basis to provide 1 month of cover, starting ASAP. The successful P.E Teacher will deliver practical and classroom-based Physical Education to girls across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, following existing schemes of work, maintaining high standards of behaviour and ensuring continuity of learning throughout the placement.
The successful P.E Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status / QTS with a relevant Physical Education specialism
Experience teaching Physical Education across KS3 and KS4
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Physical Education
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
The ability to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to students of different abilities
A positive, adaptable and professional approach to teaching
