The college provides a welcoming and inclusive learning environment, delivering high-quality vocational education and supporting learners to achieve their academic and career ambitions.

The college is looking to appoint a full-time Health and Social Care Lecturer from September on a long-term temporary basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right Health and Social Care Lecturer. The successful Health and Social Care Lecturer will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across Level 2 and Level 3 Health and Social Care qualifications, assessing learner progress and creating an inclusive classroom environment that enables all students to succeed.

The successful Health and Social Care Lecturer will have:

• A recognised PCET qualification
• Experience delivering Level 2 and Level 3 Health and Social Care qualifications
• Previous teaching or lecturing experience within Further Education or Post-16 education
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive, flexible and proactive approach to supporting learners
