TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Wakefield, who are looking to appoint a dedicated History Teacher. The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to achieve their full potential while developing confidence, resilience and a passion for education.
The school is looking to take on a History Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The successful History Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging History lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, assessing student progress, maintaining high standards of classroom management and working collaboratively with colleagues to raise attainment.
The successful History Teacher will have:
QTS with a History specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
Experience teaching History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Excellent classroom management skills
Strong communication and organisational skills
The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach
