Job Title: History Teacher

Salary: £160 - £240 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Bury, who are looking to appoint a History Teacher. The school provides a positive and supportive learning environment, encouraging students to develop their knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
The school is looking to take on a History Teacher on a long-term, full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful History Teacher will teach across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons while maintaining strong classroom management and supporting students to make academic progress.
The successful History Teacher will have:
- QTS with a History specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
- Experience teaching History across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Strong knowledge of the History curriculum
- Excellent classroom management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
