Salary: £110 - £115 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a highly regarded secondary school in Exeter that is seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). The school has a supportive and inclusive environment where staff are encouraged to make a positive impact on student outcomes.

The school is looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis from September 2026. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will support students with SEND, deliver targeted interventions and work closely with staff to ensure all students can access learning and achieve success.

The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will have:

• HLTA qualification or relevant school-based experience
• Experience supporting students with SEND
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive and proactive approach
