Are you an experienced Home Tutor with a passion for supporting primary-aged pupils with additional needs?

Do you have experience supporting children with severe learning difficulties / SLD?

Can you provide engaging, individualised learning that meets a pupil’s specific educational needs?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary-aged student in Stourport-on-Severn who requires dedicated one-to-one tuition within the home environment. The successful Home Tutor will provide a patient, supportive and engaging approach to learning, helping the pupil access education at an appropriate pace.

We are looking for a Home Tutor to work on a long-term basis from September, supporting a primary-aged pupil with severe learning difficulties / SLD. The successful Home Tutor will be expected to plan and deliver tailored learning activities, adapt teaching to the pupil’s individual needs and help them make positive educational progress.

The successful Home Tutor will have:

• Experience teaching or tutoring primary-aged pupils
• Experience supporting children with severe learning difficulties / SLD
• Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
• The ability to plan and deliver individualised learning activities
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
