Job Title: Humanities Teacher

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mixed 11-16 secondary school in Mid Essex. The school has a positive and supportive culture, a strong focus on staff wellbeing and has maintained a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, with staff reporting that they feel valued by the leadership team.
The school is looking to appoint a Humanities Teacher on a permanent, full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Humanities Teacher will join a high-performing Humanities department, primarily teaching History across the age and ability range, with applications welcomed from experienced teachers and ECTs.
The successful Humanities Teacher will have:
• QTS, with applications welcomed from ECTs
• Experience teaching History and/or Humanities within a secondary school setting
• The ability to teach across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A commitment to raising standards and supporting student progress
• An enthusiastic and positive approach to building relationships with young people
