Salary: £160 - £230 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a forward-thinking Primary Academy in Hull that is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis. The school has a strong focus on developing confident, resilient learners and prides itself on creating a welcoming atmosphere where both staff and pupils are supported to succeed.

The academy is looking to appoint a motivated Key Stage 1 Teacher from September 2026 to provide high-quality teaching across KS1. The successful Key Stage 1 Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, monitoring pupil progress, and creating a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and achievement. This opportunity offers the chance for a Key Stage 1 Teacher to gain valuable experience across different year groups whilst becoming part of a dedicated and supportive team.

The successful Key Stage 1 Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply)

• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1

• Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and assessment frameworks

• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

• Effective behaviour management skills

• A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
