What does the role involve?

• Delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Developing pupils’ literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills.
• Adapting lessons to support different abilities and additional needs.
• Using assessment and feedback to identify gaps and encourage progress.
• Maintaining positive behaviour and an inclusive classroom environment.
• Working closely with teaching assistants and school colleagues.
• Following each school’s policies and ensuring continuity of learning.

The successful KS2 Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching KS2 in UK primary schools.
• Secure knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Strong classroom management and high expectations for pupils.
• An adaptable, encouraging approach to teaching.
• A reliable attitude and a strong work ethic.
• A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
