Salary: £130 - £150 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a friendly and welcoming mainstream Primary School in Newcastle, who are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher. The school is committed to providing a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to reach their full potential and staff are supported by a dedicated leadership team.

The school is looking to appoint a driven Primary Teacher on a long-term basis from September to teach a KS2 class. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, maintaining excellent classroom management, monitoring pupil progress and working collaboratively with colleagues to provide the highest standard of education.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching within KS2 in a UK primary school
• Excellent knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
• Strong classroom management skills
• A positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
