Job Title: KS1 Teacher
Location: Newcastle
Start Date: After October Half Term
Salary: £125-£232 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Newcastle, who are looking to appoint a dedicated KS1 Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to support children during the early stages of their primary education, helping them develop confidence, independence and a love for learning.
The school is looking to take on a KS1 Teacher on a long-term basis, starting after October half term. The successful KS1 Teacher will be working across Years 1 and 2, planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, assessing pupil progress and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
The successful KS1 Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 / KS1 in a UK primary school
A strong understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum, including phonics, literacy and numeracy
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
The ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching
