Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Birmingham
Start Date: Immediate or September Start
Salary: £95- £115 per day

The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment for pupils with SEMH and cognitive needs, placing a strong emphasis on nurturing positive relationships, promoting independence and helping every student succeed.
The school is looking to appoint a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis with an immediate or September start. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will support pupils of both primary and secondary age, working closely with teaching staff to encourage engagement, manage behaviour positively and provide tailored support to meet individual learning and emotional needs.
The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will have:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, cognitive needs or additional learning needs
A passion for supporting pupils with additional needs to achieve their potential
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils and staff
A calm, patient and resilient approach
A proactive attitude with the willingness to get stuck in
