Salary: £14.25 - £15.50 per hour

Are you a patient and resilient Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about helping pupils engage with their education?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND school in Devizes that focuses on creating an inclusive and supportive environment tailored to the individual needs of its pupils. The school supports pupils with a range of SEND, particularly SEMH needs and autism, with an ethos centred around helping every pupil feel supported and included.

The school is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant on a full-time, long-term temporary basis. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work alongside pupils with SEND, including SEMH needs and autism, providing appropriate support to help them engage with learning and develop within the school environment.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs and/or autism
• The ability to drive due to the accessibility of the school
• A patient, resilient and supportive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils
