The school celebrates individual achievements and promotes a nurturing culture where pupils are supported to become confident, responsible and independent learners.

The school is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant from September on a full-time, temporary basis. The successful Learning Support Assistant will support pupils aged 8 to 19 with complex SEMH needs, providing one-to-one, small group and classroom-based support to promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and engagement with learning.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, SEND or additional learning needs
• Experience working within an educational or specialist setting
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to use positive strategies
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A calm, patient and resilient approach
• A genuine passion for helping children and young people achieve their full potential
