Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Assistant

Salary: £14.25 - £14.50 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery based in Cardiff, who are looking to appoint a Level 3 Nursery Assistant. The setting provides care and early years learning opportunities for children aged 0-3 years, focusing on creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, explore and develop.
The nursery is looking to take on an enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Assistant on a short-term basis, with part-time or full-time flexible working opportunities available. The successful Level 3 Nursery Assistant will work shifts between 8am and 6pm, supporting children aged 0-3 years with daily routines, personal care, sensory activities and play-based learning to encourage their social, emotional and physical development.
The successful Level 3 Nursery Assistant will have:
A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children
Knowledge of the Foundation Learning approach and early years development
Experience supporting babies and toddlers with daily routines and age-appropriate activities
A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
