TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large primary school based in Swansea, who are looking to appoint a Level 3 Qualified Classroom Assistant. The school benefits from a fantastic Early Years department, providing an exciting environment for young learners to develop their confidence, independence and early learning skills.

The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Classroom Assistant from November 2026 on a long-term basis, supporting children within the Early Years department. The successful Level 3 Qualified Classroom Assistant will work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities, support children's development and help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.

The successful Level 3 Qualified Classroom Assistant will have:

• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or an equivalent recognised qualification

• Experience working with children within an Early Years or primary school setting

• A sound understanding of child development and the Curriculum for Wales

• Experience supporting children's learning through play-based activities

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners
