Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Salary: £19,682 - £20,000 per annum, Scale 3 Point 6 including outer fringe

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in West Essex who are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school environment with high expectations and standards during a period of further development.

The school is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant on a permanent basis, working 30 hours and 40 minutes per week from 8.10am to 3.30pm, term time only for 38 weeks. The successful Learning Support Assistant will support the learning of pupils across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, helping students access their education and achieve to the highest possible standards.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Previous experience working within a school setting
• Experience supporting secondary-aged pupils
• Confidence supporting students across KS3-KS5
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A highly motivated and enthusiastic approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive school team
