Job Title: English and Maths Tutor
Location: Worcestershire
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £25 - £30 per hour

Do you have experience supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs?
Are you looking for a flexible tutoring role where your PPA time is also paid?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Worcestershire that supports students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The school is looking for an engaging and adaptable English and Maths Tutor who can provide effective academic support while understanding the individual needs of students with SEMH.
The school is looking to take on an English and Maths Tutor on a long-term basis, with flexible working hours ranging from 5 to 20 hours per week. The successful English and Maths Tutor will support KS3 and KS4 students with English and Maths, adapting sessions to meet individual needs and helping students remain engaged with their learning, with allocated PPA time also paid.
The successful English and Maths Tutor will have:
- QTS desired but not essential
- Experience teaching or tutoring English and Maths at KS3 and/or KS4
- Experience supporting students with SEMH needs
- The ability to adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A patient, resilient and flexible approach
