Job Title: Maths Teacher

Are you a qualified Maths Teacher with experience supporting children and young people with SEMH needs?
Can you deliver engaging Maths lessons while adapting your teaching to meet individual learning needs?
Do you have the resilience, patience and classroom management skills required to support pupils in a SEND setting?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Nottinghamshire supporting children and young people. The school provides a supportive learning environment focused on helping pupils engage positively with education and achieve their potential.
The school provides specialist education for children and young people aged 8–18 years across two sites, supporting learners with a range of special educational needs, is looking to take on a Maths Teacher on a long-term basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right Maths Teacher. The successful Maths Teacher will deliver Maths across the school, adapting lessons to meet individual needs while maintaining a positive, structured and supportive classroom environment.
The successful Maths Teacher will have:
• QTS with a Maths specialism
• Experience teaching Maths to children and young people
• Experience working with SEND and/or SEMH needs
• A valid enhanced DBS covering both the Child and Adult Workforce
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
