TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Middlesbrough, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher. The school is seeking a passionate educator who can deliver engaging Mathematics lessons, maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and encourage students to develop confidence in their mathematical abilities.

The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher from January 2027 on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, including planning and delivering engaging lessons, marking and assessing students' work, monitoring progress and maintaining excellent classroom management.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching Mathematics across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4

• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Mathematics curriculum

• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment

• Confidence in planning, marking and assessing students' work

• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting students to achieve their full potential
