TeacherActive is proud to be working with a highly regarded mainstream secondary school in Coventry that is looking to appoint a dedicated Teacher of Maths for the new academic year. The school is known for its inclusive ethos, strong leadership and ambitious curriculum, creating a positive learning environment where both staff and students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to appoint a Teacher of Maths on a full-time, long-term basis from September, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right Teacher of Maths. The successful Teacher of Maths will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, monitor student progress effectively, differentiate learning to meet individual needs and contribute positively to a collaborative and successful Maths department.

The successful Teacher of Maths will have:

• QTS with a Maths specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school
• The ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and enthusiastic approach with a genuine passion for Mathematics education
