Job Title: Maths Teacher Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Start Date: Immediate Start Salary: £160 - £220 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Newcastle upon Tyne, who are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher. The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who can deliver engaging mathematics lessons and support students in developing their confidence and understanding of the subject.
The school is looking to take on a committed Maths Teacher on a long-term basis, starting immediately. The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
The successful Maths Teacher will have:
QTS with a Maths specialism (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the secondary Maths curriculum
Excellent classroom management skills
The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning abilities
A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
