Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Berwick-upon-Tweed
Start Date: September
Salary: £180 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Berwick-upon-Tweed, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Maths Teacher. The school has a positive and inclusive ethos, with a strong focus on academic achievement, student well-being, and creating a supportive environment for both staff and pupils.
The school is looking to take on a passionate Maths Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The successful Maths Teacher will be teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, with Key Stage 5 / KS5 teaching being desirable. The successful Maths Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging lessons, maintain strong classroom management, and support students in achieving their full potential.
The successful Maths Teacher will have:
• QTS with a Maths specialism
• Experience teaching Maths across KS3 / KS4
• KS5 teaching experience desirable
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
