TeacherActive are looking for passionate, reliable and adaptable Maths Teachers and Cover Supervisors to work across our growing network of Secondary Schools throughout Liverpool, The Wirral and Merseyside.

Whether you're an experienced Maths Teacher looking for greater flexibility, an ECT wanting to build experience across different schools, or a confident Cover Supervisor looking for your next opportunity, we want to hear from you.

We work closely with Secondary Schools across Merseyside, providing everything from day-to-day cover to longer-term placements, with opportunities that could lead to permanent employment.

We're looking for individuals who:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification for Maths Teacher positions

• Have experience teaching Maths or supervising lessons within a Secondary School setting

• Are confident delivering engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, where applicable

• Can quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Are adaptable, reliable and professional

• Can support pupils of varying abilities and encourage a positive learning environment

• Put children at the heart of everything they do

Both ECTs and experienced Maths Teachers are warmly encouraged to apply.

We also welcome applications from experienced Cover Supervisors who are confident managing Secondary classrooms and supporting pupils with pre-planned learning activities.
