The school is looking to appoint a Maths Teacher from September on a long-term temporary basis, and applications are strongly encouraged from both NQTs and experienced teachers. The successful Maths Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the secondary age range, monitor pupil progress and create a positive classroom environment where pupils can develop their confidence and enjoyment of Mathematics.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification, with NQTs strongly encouraged to apply
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level, including teaching placements for NQTs
• Effective classroom management skills and the confidence to engage pupils of different abilities
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• An enthusiastic, adaptable and positive approach to teaching
