Salary: £170 - £250 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large secondary school in Stockport, who are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher. This ‘Good’ OFSTED rated school has a strong and supportive Senior Leadership Team who are committed to creating a positive learning environment where both staff and students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a driven Maths Teacher on a long-term basis starting in July. The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, monitoring pupil progress and maintaining high expectations within the classroom.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Maths specialism

• Experience teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4

• Strong classroom management skills

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities

• A positive and proactive attitude

• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
