A secondary school in Dudley is looking to appoint a Maths Teacher to join its teaching team on a long-term temporary basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an opportunity to work with students across the secondary age range, helping them develop essential mathematical skills and build confidence in their learning.
The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for teaching Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum and assessing student progress. The role requires someone who can establish clear classroom expectations, adapt teaching to different abilities and provide consistent support to students throughout the placement.
The successful Maths Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), essential for this position
Experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE preparation
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the secondary Maths curriculum
Effective classroom management and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment
Confidence in planning, delivering and assessing lessons for students of different abilities
Strong communication skills, reliability and a genuine commitment to student progress
