Pay: £14.25 – £16.20 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic further education college in Carmarthen to recruit an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician.

This is a brilliant opportunity to bring your practical automotive knowledge into an educational setting, supporting lecturers and learners while helping to create a safe, organised and well-equipped workshop environment.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Preparing workshops for practical automotive sessions.
• Maintaining and repairing vehicles, tools and equipment.
• Ensuring the workshop is safe, clean and organised.
• Supporting lecturers and students during practical sessions.
• Helping maintain high standards of workshop health and safety.

✅ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in an automotive workshop or vehicle maintenance environment.
• Strong practical vehicle maintenance and repair skills.
• Knowledge of workshop health and safety procedures.
• Excellent organisational skills and a proactive attitude.
• Someone who can work independently and as part of a team.
