Job Title: Music Teacher

Salary: £172.98 - £210 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Caerphilly that is looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Music Teacher. The school is focused on providing a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their creativity, confidence and academic abilities.
The school is looking to appoint a qualified Music Teacher on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start, teaching Music across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Music Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging practical and theoretical music lessons, managing classroom behaviour, assessing pupil progress and supporting students in developing their musical knowledge and performance skills.
The successful Music Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with a specialism in Music (NQTs are welcome to apply)
A relevant teaching qualification and strong knowledge of the secondary Music curriculum
Experience teaching Music across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate pupils
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively alongside teaching and support staff
A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach with a genuine passion for music education
